Browse is a core technology of SUPER MENU. With
it, you can browse any ASCII file. You can select lines and
import them as text into the drawing file - great for maintaining
standard notes, even supports the use of columns. Developers can
use Browse to select a line and write it to a temporary file for
input into another routine. SUPER MENU makes the following uses
of Browse:
- FindFile will search the AutoCAD Path for
a file and then browse it. You can then select lines for
input into your drawing.
- On-Line
Database uses browse to view the many data tables
that come with SUPER MENU. (Shown below viewing bolt
data.) This makes it easy to find data that is normal in
reference manuals. Users can use Browse to expand this
capability with their own data.
- SM-Threads uses Browse to select a thread to draw.
- SM-Steel uses Browse to select steel shapes.
